JCE instead of JoBB editor. Or I have to drop JooBB from site

I've read countless threads here of people who want JCE intead of JooBB editor in the forums and how the option is not available. No solutions here either. I tried them. Right now my main Joomla site (1.5) uses JCE. Everyone loves it. What they hate is the limited editor in my forums. They want commonality between forums and rest of the site. I tried disabling all editors and leaving JCE only, doesn't work it screws up the new post screen. I checked the admin screens etc and profile screens and everything seems right. If I were to guess it's because your editor is classified as type "editors-bb" rather than "editor". I see posts where people are literally abandoned here with no working solution. Not a good sign and right now my forums are frozen because I don't want anyone posting to it anymore if I have to remove it.

If anyone knows a forum that works with JCE (kuena doesn't), I don't care about the options anymore I just care that JCE is there as a selectable option, please let me know. Thanks!

please feel free to use, or not to use Joo!BB. Fact is, at the moment there's no way to realize this feature. I already tryed to do this, but there were some big problems with this and I decided to fall back to bb editor only for now. The reason is, that some changes on the whole system must be done. I guess, it could be done for Joomla 1.7 releases. Please have a look at Support other editors, e.g. JCE.
