Post Hi all :)

What an incredible board!! I just installed it. I'm coming from MKPortal/MyBB that just CRASHED ON ME and I'm in a nervous panic to find a new php CMS/Forum combination.

You'd be surprised what a thorough pain it is to find something as simple as this sounds, but it's not.

I must've tried about a hundred different emerging CMS's (and some of them are pretty damn cool, too!)

But then I came across THIS little gem.

I'm a PHP developer, a seasoned webmaster, and I'll be glad to take part in this project and help you bring it to fruition.

I look forward to this. This is gonna be a lot of fun.

I still can't figure out why it's "pre" beta, though... clearly it's well into Beta right now. In fact, I'd say it's probably closer to a release cand. than it is a pre-beta, this software is locked down and works well!

I agree JooBB is good, however if you start using it on your website, you will come across bugs and annoying niggly things that the author is slowly ironing out. I think his patient approach is by far the best way to develop this type of software, I think JooBB is a fair way for RC. When the author releases the Beta, JooBB's developemtn will explode IMO, as he will allow other developers involvement in the project, which will get JooBB dev in top gear.

Hi,

thank you very much for compliments. I'm sure this piece of software is good enough to test with it. But I'm also sure it is not good enough to be beta. Smile Never mind to be used in production environment!

As you can see there are still some differences. I mean... the style is like Finger or Mooning. Chris! You agree to this, right? Big Smile I do!

There are still some improvements needed. I'm working on it hard. Sleepy

Yes, I like the step by step development... As you know, many software vendors want to be the first on the market. Forget it! I will not mention names!!! I'm sure you know, that Web 2.0 is also called a never ending beta?! What I want is, to check out if I can catch a piece of the market without beeing the fastest.

Kind regards,
Robbie

I am anxiously awaiting a stable production release!

This is, by far, the best BBS around.

I'll be happy to make templates for it.
