Feature Request!

Hello. Since i start like Joo!BB more and more i would like to ask for some features and maybe in time we will share the joy of using a real board with full joomla integration!

Features requests!

1.Private Messages integration: JIM, UddeIM
2.We allready know that templates are requested, but i would ask all peoples to give a hand with the templates. I think Joo!BB it will be a success for clansites.
3. Joomla Profile and registration integration. I allready like Joo!BB profile and registration, but it would be nice to integrate it in joomla - i mean you do a joomla like registration page and profile page.
4.New emotions, most peoples like the phpbb ones.
5.This might be a bug, but when you toy with joo!bb configuration you end up reinstall it, because it will return a 500 error.

Right now this is what i can think about. ALl you need its a little help from peoples and new new new new features.

I will start working on a Star Wars template, with icons and buttons Star Wwars like. After i will finish it i will gladly share with you all.

You can put me in with the 'I'll help make a template' bunch. I've got plans to make some new buttons, specifically to share with the community.

Many themes and future JooBB extensions will be produced once the Beta is released, until that happens no one knows what they are working with, so they cant really produce anything

I see... there is a large demand on latest post module. Olaf reported to me that he also has demands. So... Guys... I'm about to develop this one too. Please see SVN.

Hey guys,
I'm pretty new at all this stuff... I can see the following in svn:
Index of /trunk/modules
and then:
- Parent Directory
- mod_latestposts/

but how do I get to download this module?
I would really like to have it, even if it's not fully tested yet, because it's a must-have for the forum, so else I will have to pick a new forumn and I like JooBB

Hi Magwai,

this is a development version. If you want to learn more about svn please see Version Control with Subversion.

I wrote this module yesterday within 1 hour! I would say this thing is Version 0.0.0.0.0.1.

Please be a little bit patient. When it is ready for the public, I will create an installation package. Than you can install it without problems in Joomla backend.

oooh ok, I know SVN, just I never used it on the internet before. But if it's still that fragile I will hold my horses a bit. I thought it was like an alpha version or smth

Request for advance search, where user can specify in which board and by which author to search for.

Another request, since a lot has been changed from v0.7.4 I would suggest to release v0.7.5 and continue bug fixing and adding feature for beta version.

Yes, this feature will be available 1.0.x.
Sorry for that, but I need to make a "cut", fix all bugs and release a stable version. Other features will be then added step by step.

Yes, 0.7.5 is planned for the weekend. We will see.

Just been having a good think about some additional features.

- Member name list of who is online
- Rep System
- Joomla module of latest topics
- Joomla login module, also fowards registration to JooBB
- Friends Lists (can imagine that being difficult)
- Sub categories (has been mentioned before)
- Standalone PM system rather than intergration of others
