Avatar broken?

I tried to upload my avatar here at the Joo!BB community, and received this error:

'Your file size is Maximal allowed file size to upload is'

That is the only information given, and the upload doesn't complete. The file size is 72x72 pixels.

Hi,

As far as I can see, my Avatar works well. I guess the pic you have chosen to become your Avatar was too large. Make it smaller file size (not pixel-size) and try again.

I saved it in PNG and that seems to have worked, but the issue still stands for not giving any further details. For some reason Joo!BB isn't passing the %s to the max-size strings to inform someone why their upload sucked.
