Thank you for letting us know.
I am ready to try 0.7.7 and barely can wait.
Do you think with this new version, I can start (slowly) to build up my community? Or is it still recommemded to wait another while or for the next version? All depends, if the database can be re-used for the next version and remains stable. What do you think?

it is still not recommended. There will be one real big change (That's the reason why I'm late with 0.7.7). I think, there will be release 0.9.0 in January and than I will support updates, so you will be able to build your community.

Thank you much for your reply.
I'll wait for the update functionality then and have already decided to go with JooBB as "The" fora for my website once its ready. 
Please take your time for the development. It takes as long as it takes and I didn't mean to sound pushie...
Outstanding work (!!) on this project from your side! Thank you so much for making JooBB available for us.

Hi Markus,
no, it is absolutely not recommended to use Joo!BB on a live site. It is the first beta. I think you will be able to do this with beta 2 releases (0.9.x). Then I will also support updates!!!
