Robbie,
I did upload a bug into the project tracker today outlining the fact that the Topic Display now pages and displays the added pages when the "posts per page" setting is exceeded, but it displays empty rows without the database information on the second page. I attached a screenshot in the bug tracker for you to review.
I do maintain an active database of almost 900 posts (even though it advised not to!
) so I'm probably seeing some stuff that others aren't. I did the database modifications to migrate from 0.7.6 to 0.7.7 and don't see any other issues so far.
I apologize as I loaded your original svn modifications when you corrected this before, but saw this same empty results, and assumed that I did not load the svn properly so I abandoned that to wait for 0.7.7 so I should have given this feedback before. If you correct, I will load the svn mods and test on my system if you would like.
Keep up the great work,
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Have you got a link to your JooBB installation?

Chris,
I do, but it's a member only site, so follow the link and apply for membership and I will approve you so that you can take a look at it. I appreciate your knowledge and helpfulness on this forum and maybe there is something that I'm missing. I get by with coding for some purposes, but I'm no expert.
Don't be offended by some of our humor! LOL

Holy crap, this is a major bug!!
I extended a topic on this forum, with exactly the same results

Only Robbie can help with this one tho Jeff.

I was hoping that I was seeing it correctly and probably the fact that my active forum has almost 900 posts, it is larger than most any that are being used actively.
I got started with this actively as I was just putting my site together and didn't have any other forum running and my camping buddies were asking for this functionality. So when Joobb looked good for my purposes, I just kept it going and figured that I could handle the database mods to move it from the current versions to the next versions and so far not too bad.
I don't however write it in one piece of code so I can't provide it to anyone else if they are reading this. I just backup up my data and un-install the old version. Then I modify the install xml file to leave out the database loads and only load the page codes.
I then modify my current data by adding any necessary new/changed fields and re-load the newly modified data manually with phpmyadmin. I'm okay with basic programming, but not like you are my friend Chris
.
I'm sure Robbie will address it when he has time and I can put in into test then. He can have access if needed as if it helps this project, that helps me!
Thanks for your help!
Chris Badley
Chris,
I've been assuming that Robbie took time off for the holidays as I haven't seen him around here so I wasn't too concerned about this yet.
But I do agree with you, that it is an important issue to correct so I'm sure we will hear from him soon.
Thanks for your support! Looking forward to your webpage when it's up.

Hiya, Chris and jhetrick62
I, too, have experienced this error on my own site. I see now that I'm not alone.... so it's not something I did afterall
Like you, I am looking forward to a fix to this issue (possibly included in the next release soon)
Love and Sappy Crap,
Lew

Lew,
If you saw the info that Robbie has posted in the last few days, it appears that he is targeting a major update in the next two weeks as it will include "upgrade paths" after this one, so I'm reasonably confident with the importance of this issue that it will probably get addressed then.
Glad to see you on our team!
Yeah, jhetrick62. I saw something like that in a thread here about when the next release is expected, which is why I threw in that "possibly included in the next release soon" thing.
As far as being on the team goes, like you I don't consider myself a coding expert (far from it), but if I manage to come up with a little tweak or two or anything helpful to contribute, I will happily do so. I'm digging what you guys (Robbie, Chris, you, etc.) have developed so far with JooBB and I intend to stick with it.
Thanks!

Thanks, but I take no credit for developing, only supporting it. If I can answer some softball questions, then Robbie has more time to develop. Although, Chris is a great coder from what I've seen!
Thanks though as we all reap the reward in the long run.
