It would "seem" that the development of JooBB has ground to a halt, and the author hasnt visited this site or touch the SVN files for 4 weeks.
Personally I spent a fair bit of time making mods and templates, and offering assistance on this forum. Since it appears that no futher progress has taken place lately, I dont think I will spend my time on here anymore. If/when developent resumes I will participate again. Seems a bit of a waste of time for me to make templates etc for forum software that ma possibily be abandoned.

Chris Badley
Hi Chris,
I'm very sorry for not beeing here for a long time and that there are no moves in SVN! Therefore I would like to thanks everybody who supports me in this community. My saved time not beeing here was spent to forward the development.
Kind regards,
Robbie
Thank you for the answer Robbie,
I share the thoughts of Chris. When you start something but don't want to finish it or stay away without any notice why should others stay? Your component is good but still there is a lot of work.
Why do we try it? because we look for a good board. Why do we test it? because it will save you time and the result will be a good board.
Don't let us down.

Hi Hennepdesk,
yes, it is not the best way I did and I'm really sorry for that.
I know, there are many things which must be done. And there is one really big change I decided to made before version 1.0. Normally it was planed for the version 2.0.
You can believe me, that I'm very glad that there guy's like you supporting me. Therefore I will not let you down. Joo!BB is my baby and I'm about to make improvements on it as long as Joomla will exists!
Kind regards,
Robbie
Great to hear overall, as many were getting concerned as Chris has indicated.
Pleased to see we are still moving along as I truly appreciate this project and use it every day and attempt to support the others on the forum with the stuff that is in my realm, although limited sometimes as I'm not a heavy coder.
I'm sure you big change will create me some headaches as a full-time user, but I will put in the time to update my database.
Great news, overall!
I have tried an early PHPBB3 bridge, Fireboard, and have been monitoring JooBB development for the past 4 months. IMO, JooBB Joomla 1.5 native origin, ...
