Post SOLVED -- registration problems

Hi i'm having a problem registering new users. For some reason the activation email is not been sent if it is a hotmail address. It works fine with my email addresses that are through my domain name but hotmail.com and live.com do not get the email. They are showing as registered in my CP but not activated, i've tried with 4 accounts now through the joobb register form. I tried registering a hotmail address through the normal way using the community builder register and the email goes through fine so it's definately something in joobb.

I'm using:

joo bb 0.7.7 and joomla 1.59

Hi Keef,

thank you for the report. Joo!BB is using the Joomla 1.5 framework to send an E-Mail. What's about, when you try to register with the standard Joomla registration?

Is it possible to get your testing hotmail for testing? If so, please do not post it here. Please email me. Thank you.

Whatever, I will have a look at it.

Kind regards,
Robbie

PS: Does anyone got a similar problem? There can be much reasons for that. Crying

Hi thanks for getting back, i didn't realise that the joomla framework was been used to send the email. i didn't have a the joomla login module published as i wasn't using it because of community builders login mod. I have published the joomla login mod and just set it not to appear anywhere and it seems to have solved the problem. Slightly odd that it was working with my domains email address though and just not with hotmail. But is sorted now anyways.
