Post Do I have to install JooCM if I only want forum?

As the topic subject says 'Do I have to install JooCM if I only want forum?'

I only need a forum, previous version of JooBB v0.7 was stand alone, with new version it seems I need to install extra component which I don't need, can I use new version of joobb as standalone

Yes, you do have to install JooCM as it is the basis for some of the forum information so the forum can't exist without the JooCM.

You don't have to leave a link for the JooCM, you could leave it only accessible from the "profiles" link in JooBB I believe. I have not tested it that way, but do believe that it will work.

If I say its a three part component I guess you do need it. Its like saying 'I don't need the Joo!BB editor plugin'

Joo!CM is nothing horrid, all it is is your member side really. So like I said I don't see a problem here.

And ill repeat, besides 'I don't need it' what is your concern with Joo!CM?
