Hi there.
1. Unzip on your Computer.
2. Locate the files.
3. CTRL+A Select all.
4. Right click > "Add to Archive"
(or if your using windows default)
Right Click > Send to > Compressed (Zipped) folder.
5. Upload into joomla.
That should work.
The reason for this is because com_joobb_0.5.8.zip acts as a wrapper to the root directory of the component files. Joomla cannot search directories INSIDE the compressed file. It can only find files immediately inside the component package.

Joo!BB is developed as a native Joomla 1.5 component. it will never run under 1.0.15. if you like to test Joo!BB you will need to install Joomla 1.5.

Upload package file error
Hello,
i try al nigt to get joobb on my site but without result. Whaterver i try i get an error like Unknown Archive Type And Unable to find install package
I use the extension manager install and use the latest version of joomla 1,5. Can someone please help me ?
Offcourse i have unzipped al te files an i use install.joobb xml for the installation
