Post Editor Problems - Joo!BB-editor

Many, many times, the problems with not being able to post properly after install, the issue is with your editor settings. Here is how you check to insure that you have it installed and set-up properly.

In the backend of Joomla under Plugins, make sure that you only have 2 editors enables, Joo!BB-Editor and one other for all other joomla work. In my case I use JCE but it doesn't have to be that one.

Next, under Joo!BB Main Menu, open Configuration > Joo!BB Standard Configuration and look to insure that Joo!BB-Editor is selected as the editor. Save if you changed it.

Next, under both Joo!CM & Joo!BB, go into your specific user and check to insure that the user has an editor setting of "Select Editor". In this way, it looks to the Master Joo!BB settings to see which to use. This is exactly how my private system is set up.

See if this works for you. Make sure when you check the plug-ins that you don't have Editor-No Editor enabled also.

Goodluck,
Jeff

I have done everything I can to ensure the editor is installed correctly on www.pendragon.mu - however, I still cannot get it so that users can start a new topic - most frustrating.
