Welcome. I don't know of any reason that right out of the box the JooBB would not already be linked to the JooCM. On most website, at least that I have worked with, in the site itself, you create a menu link to JooBB. In this case you link it to the "Board Layout" option.

What happens when you go to the JooCM page and click on the "Forum" button?

Hi JeffHi
Thanks for your response, however when i press the JooCM forum button up comes the four boxes login, register, terms and JoomBB forum logo.Login, register and terms all function JoomBB forum does not.

I have logged in OK seven boxes appear only two do not function JoomBB forum and messages.

In the back menu under components i have JoomCM and JoomBB all seems to be working OK.

Cheers Barry

It's been so long since I set up a new site, but check your user status in the backend of the JooCM and insure that it has the "Agreed to Terms" set to "yes". If not, I don't believe it will allow you into the website.

It should have shown them to you the first time you log in, but I think there is a bug in there that has been fixed for the next release if I remember right.

Ok, another question. Do you use any other login to your site, or is your site publicly browseable except for the forum?

To check to see if your site has Uddiem, check in the component section of the Joomla backend to see if it exists.

If you mean if you have it plugged in properly in JooBB, you actually check the JooCM backend, select the interfaces and open up the CM_MESSAGES interface. It should read like this picture. If not, make the changes and save it. As long as Uddiem is installed it will work.

You can email me the private access, but if Uddiem doesn't work on it's own, it definitely won't work inside of JooBB. JooBB is just a wrapper for a working module.
