Hi,
I am Lintzy and the website owner of http://installiert.de
On this website, I have installed all available and free Joomla forums and users can check them in front- and in backend. Furthermore there is a comparison table, that compares 157 features of all forums.
Nobody is perfect, and perhaps the DEVs of joobb would like to give some background informations also (see here please)
If you are interested, please check this features list
Sincerely Lintzy
Lintzy,
I read over your comparison tables and found them to be very interesting and informative. I realize there isn't a specific link to Community Builder in the JooCM or JooBB setup, but I have always run my personal website forum with Community Builder and it works fine as an authentication means for JooBB and JooBB considers a "logged in" username to also be logged into the JooBB forum, so I have no issues with it.
That would be the only quick issue that I noted.
Jeff
jhetrick62, thank you, that is very amicable. And thanks for proving the comparison table.
I guess, all Joomla forums are using the joomla users, so as Community Builder does too. So it should be self-evidently, that all these joomla components need only one login.
Or am I wrong and I have misconceived you? I am not sure, because english is not my native language
Community Builder integration means, that the avatar of CB is used in forum, and if you click on profile link in forum, you will be redirected to the users CB profile. At least the possiblity to set in backend, which profile shall be choosen.
With a litte bit more spare time, I will test this function yet on a separate j!installation
