Hi Robbie,
sorry I just don't want to bug you
but there's a bug in your search links:
For example, list all your posts and switch to a higher pagination number like http://joobb.org/community/board/userposts/63.html?start=600. Clicking on the post header link of "Welcome to Joo!BB" results in an empty page because the query string "start=600" of the former search request is passed to all post header links. Of course, because there is only 1 single post in your primal topic.
I didn't have a look at the code right now but I guess you might figure that out pretty quick
Kind regards,
Rainer
Thank you and I'm sure Robbie will review this. There was definitely a bug in search that was identified and should be fixed in the current svn and in the next release, I'm just not sure if this was it or if this is new.
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
did you mean that well known "long-time" bug of being forwarded to the main page? --> http://joobb.org/community/board/topic/759-JOOBB_-_Search_function_problem_Known_Outstanding_Issue.html
My bug would refer to a different issue though I'm not sure if this problem has already been tracked.
Rainer
Hi Rainer and Jeff,
my fault.
It worked fine for posts showed in a forum, but not for user posts. I managed the bug, but I'm not really happy with this solution because of performance. For now it works fine.
Many thx to both of you for supporting me. I'm really happy about that!
@Rainer,
many thx for the report. I wondered all the time where google gets those links from.
@Jeff,
many thx again for your great job supporting this forum!
Robbie
