Post Forum URLs

Hi all,

Was delighted to discover Joo!bb and it integrates so well.

Just one quick question from a newbie, if I may.

On the demo site the URLs for each forum are not php based, they are static links. But when I installed Joo!bb, I notice that the URLs are parameterised php calls like those on phpBB3.

How do I configure my forums to be located in different URLs? E.g.
www.site.com/forums

Forums

www.site.com/forums/firstforum/x.HTML
www.site.com/forums/secondforum/y.HTML

Many thanks, Alex

Post Forum URLs - for example

This is what I get when I hover over a topic link from a fresh Joo!BB install:

http://www.site.com/index.php?option=com_joobb&view=topic&topic=1&Itemid=58#p1

and this is what we get when we hover over the same in the Joobb community:

http://www.joobb.org/community/board/topic/949-Forum_URLs.html

Anyone any ideas how I get to this?

Many thanks, Alex

Alex,

many thx for discovering Joo!BB. Smile

Joo!BB is fully Joomla integrated and uses Joomla SEF as default. You can have a look at the Joomla SEF Documentation for more information how to set up SEF in Joomla.
