the subscription is not for email alert?

uh oh,
I guess this is my common-sense
But, there's no alert given to my email since I registered into the JooBB forums.

Is it true that even in our own installed Joomla forum extended by JooBB,
it doesn't have the alert (email sent) of the subscription?
