Breadcrumb module, now this would be awesome... Now if you had the option in the configuration to disable the breadcrumbs and basically the entire top box where it is and have a mod that would use the breadcrumb to where you were on the board. Now that would be really decent. The rest of the stuff up there can be placed as menu item if the website owner wants them available.
Another thing I would love to see come out is being able to use typography. Or how about allowing html in posts for allowed groups.

It will be a great contribution I'm sure as that's what makes any Joomla extension great, the user contributions and of course the expert coding of our fearless leader, Robbie.
ROFL
Isn't that the truth. And that's my goal is to provide free customizations for Joo!BB. I believe with hard work we all can make Joo!BB the must have extension. My ambitions are set high with is one and we can give everyone else a run for their money.
Silver Series is comming out here in a few days, right now I have the button sets for the style right now on my website. SO here's a look at those now...
Black:
Aqua:
Crimson:
I am going to be producing the styles with these here soon and I will announce them here.
I understand that this version is a complete revision of Joo!BB and that when upgrading I would need to create a fresh install including the database. With that thought in mind for most sites that care for their member's post I have is question in mind:
Is it possible to do a data only back up in the Joo!BB table structure of this new release?
Now I am not an expert in MySQL but what I am asking is that is the structure of the database the same for a such backup and restore?
I understand how Joo!BB uses the Joomla! database and thats why I asked this question.
EDIT
Also I was wanting to know if this release wont have to rely on the current Joomla template css for some styling?
With the FF and IE browser recognition, that cant be currently done unless there is a Joo!BB core enhancement or a plugin...
As far as the footer is concerned you must first know what positions are used in your Joomla template and then you can place the mod in that position.
Its simple to change the background style in the theme's css file but you you also have to pay attention to the Joomla theme that is currently set as the default as well since Joo!BB uses that theme for some css styling...
Sorry for the pile up like this but I have a list of ideas that would make this project the undisputed forum component for Joomla.
Subforums
Subforums would the the modification for organization. Some message boards, especially the gaming clan message boards for example could be pretty lengthy. I know from experience...
Special Ranks:
Most gaming site like to have special ranks instead of using the rank images based off post counts.
Changing group colors in CP and not CSS:
Instead of editting a css file, there could be a way to change the group colors including the guest, admin, etc.. with out editing the css.

Through my experience in using Joomla, if it is a framework issue, this can be overridden in the configuration. I have added HTML and other scripting languages in Joomla Directly in the article system so I don't know if it would work on the Joo!BB message board, but you could always give it a try.
How you can override this is to login to your admin control panel of Joomla, goto the Joomla Configuration setting of the site and toggle the editor to Editor - No Editor, so when you go to the articles you wont get a WYSIWYG Editor but a plain text box area. Here you can input all your html scripts and other language scriptings.
Though having this setting turn on like this might become a threat if set permanently to No Editor, so it is wise to set it back to an editor for security reasons.
Also, I haven't personally tested this but Robbie is the Admin and so he know best with his software....
This message board system has a lot of potential. And the way I see it is that it could make a huge impact on the Joomla community if you had converters available.
Most people are novice when it comes to really running a website and it is hard to find a developer with dedication and determination.
The most important update I can see having at the moment is having a converter. A lot of people use other message board systems within their Joomla and it would be awesome to have a converter for a message board like this. I mean, most would opt out in other systems since they can get their mods with other Joomla extensions. Also this message board is more user friendly and is more clean than others I have seen.
A good installer for the design system would be the most appropriate at the moment for a future feature of this system, if it is through the main Joomla installer or if it has its own system it would be really awesome. Also with the same system it could make future updates and mods easy to install.
The Blue style from Sonixsoft, modified by PcolaDesigns for Joo!BB. Also includes the blue Button set from Sonixsoft.

Attention!
The background is not included in this style set! The Background was made transparent and the style was modified for dark backgrounds.
Enjoy!
