Welcome. First question, is your forum connected to another site that the user logs into, or are you using the JOOCM page as the login page every time?

Post Re: I cannot install after uninstallation

1. Are you installing on your own server or a hosted server? If hosted, is it GoDaddy?

2. Did you follow all install steps as in the instructions on the main page? If so, what errors did you get.

Yes, you could install the database separately, but it should have worked as of the last time I installed it.

You definitely have to migrate the database from 9.1 to 9.2.

Cappymoo,

Glad that you figured both out! I was away for the weekend so you gotta hang on as I read everything eventually, although won't always have an answer, many times I will.

Welcome,

Robbie,

Nothing wrong with liking football! Cool Gotta have some outlets in life besides work and a hobby like programming this forum application which you have done most all of on your own from my understanding.

I agree, RC1 would be nice sometime this year although I have no idea how much more code that will require.

Super job! I like the American version of football more than the kind that you probably follow, but we grew up with that here of course.

I figured that I would drop you a nice note and make a milestone post simultaneously! LOL Party!!!

Be well,
Jeff

Joe,

Wow, clearly a problem, but I'm not sure where to look for that as you aren't getting the proper details even displayed. There is quite a bit more that should display even if the info is blank. It's like your database feed isn't populating.

What versions of Joomla, JooBB, JooCM, mysql and php are you running?

Ok, yes you must always keep those modules in sync for the versions. Glad it is working.

BTW, very nice pics on your website. I can't read that language, but the pictures are wonderful.

Ok, is there anything in the Member Detail Heading such as "Register Date" or "Last Visit Date" then dates beside them?

Also, does it give you a heading for Personal Data and Contact Information?

In the JooCM configuration settings, under "Configuration > JooCM Standard Configuration", in the section of "Configuration Settings" you need to have the "enable profiles" option set to yes. If not, you will get the Personal Data and Contact Information sections, but all details will be missing. With it set to yes, all details available will display.

The entire website fails to load, or is the entire website your JooBB module on Joomla?

Also, what versions of Joomla, JooBB and the Latest Posts module are you running?

Post Re: unable to update account/ profile

Do you mean that even in the backend, you can't go to the JooCM application and click on the "Users" icon to open the User Manager? Then if you open your own user, can you go down and check off to "yes" the "agreed to terms" option then save it?

If not, did you login to the back end as admin with the admin password?

In the meantime, can you go into the JooCM > Configuration section, check the "agreed to terms" to "NO", then save it? If so, you won't need your users to agree to terms.

Post Re: [IMG] Tags lets crash my Bord

Ok, no problem with the language, I understand. All levels can't be set to registered, or everyone would have access to edit and administer. Also, did you sync your users in the backend using the JooBB Tool for user sync?

Attached are examples of one of my board permission settings and user settings to insure that Da_Prez can moderate all issues.

The tag crashing the thread should not happen although I'm not sure with the information that you presented why that is. You can email me a link to your site in my private email if you would like so that I can see it.

Post Re: [IMG] Tags lets crash my Bord

When you say that nobody can enter it to fix the post, do you mean on the frontend? Obviously you can go into your server and manually fix the post, correct? What user levels do you have assigned the the person trying to fix the post? What levels do you have set for the board configuration for editing and deleting posts?

Thank you and I'm sure Robbie will review this. There was definitely a bug in search that was identified and should be fixed in the current svn and in the next release, I'm just not sure if this was it or if this is new.

Post Re: Unable to Link Joo!BB to Menu

You can email me the private access, but if Uddiem doesn't work on it's own, it definitely won't work inside of JooBB. JooBB is just a wrapper for a working module.

Post Re: I'm logged as Super Admin.. CANNOT delete.. Please help

I don't know how to tell you what is the "Best Way", I can only say that I run Community Builder for my site access and it synchronizes nicely with the JooCM and JooBB products and does it all for me. I had it installed before I put in JooBB so I can't say its the best, but it works for me.

Post Re: I'm logged as Super Admin.. CANNOT delete.. Please help

I don't know off-hand about your admin account creation. What other "community" do you run on your site if any such as Community Builder, etc ??

Each individual forum can have custom permissions set. You find these under JooBB > Board then click on the forum that you want to adjust the permissions on.

You will see there user levels for each different permission option. Verify your user settings and as long as you are a higher user than the setting, you should have access to the specific function such as edit, lock, ect.

In many of mine, I set permissions to private then I have no issues as I'm an administrator which is a higher level than private.

Post Re: Unable to Link Joo!BB to Menu

To check to see if your site has Uddiem, check in the component section of the Joomla backend to see if it exists.

If you mean if you have it plugged in properly in JooBB, you actually check the JooCM backend, select the interfaces and open up the CM_MESSAGES interface. It should read like this picture. If not, make the changes and save it. As long as Uddiem is installed it will work.

Post Re: Post showing up in background

This one stumps me as I'm not a great coder and usually don't mess with templating to begin with. Hopefully someone else will have some insight on this one, but what OS are you running and what browser? Also is you site publicly available and if so, private email me the link so that I can look at it to see if I get the same results.

My private email is in my user details if you click on it.

Thanks,
Jeff

I do believe there was a bug with Captcha that has been addressed for the next release. I don't run it myself so that leaves me a little fuzzy sometimes.
