What I do not allow is, to make changes on it and than redistribute it. Therefore it's not Open Source! Of course you are allowed to make changes to it by yourself on your site.

Robbie,
Am I clearly understood, that I can not modify any existing part of your software (for example module or some changes in code to make it better) and then post it to community?
I can't...
Because:
Joo!BB is free software. This version may have been NOT modified.
Hey Robbie!
I looked in your mod_latestposts and want to add some additional params to it, that user will choose.
Can I modify it and post it to community?
P.S.
I suggest you to name this module as mod_joobblatest. It will be more specific
This is just a suggestion

Where can I find this future and turn it on?
For sure Uddeim is the best one.
I think we needed simplest solution - a small icon under avatar linking to Uddeim compose feature.
This is really strange cause I recently installed same version of Joo!BB an Joo!Editor as you have and I do not have such problems with saving info in newly created fields.
Does any error shows up?
