Post Suggestions for templating

Hi,

Why don´t you code your buttons instead of using images?

When they are coded they can be fully customized via CSS

A big advantage will be that you display the text on the buttons with a string.

->Translation will be easier
->Templating will be easier

in my opinion Smile

Post Translator forum

Hi all,

A good idea for the Joo!BB Community would be a separate Forum for Translators...

I want to translate it into French and maybe if still have time into German Smile

But I need some help... I did not find any language files in the Joo!BB component...

Where are these located?

Post How to create a template

I´m looking forward to create my own template for Joo!BB.

I tried to add some buttons today in 2 languages french and english

I tried several ways to add them to Joo!BB,

STEP 1: Designed the buttons

STEP 2: Uploaded to server

Uploaded to a new directory in /components/designs/buttons/

with /en_GB and /fr_FR as subdirectories

STEP 3: Created a new Button Set in backend

As image source my created directory appeared! So far so good Smile

STEP 4: Created a new Button

Choose my Button Set gave it a name and descr. and picked the filename

after saving the button is listed under the buttons but when
clicking to edit it i get the following error:

Code

JFolder::files: Path is not a folder /home/www/yyy/xxx/html/components/com_joobb/designs/buttons/joobb_lss/en-GB

... so my question is what is the general way to create buttons or more general a template for Joo!BB?

I think this project has great potential and i´m looking forward to use it on my site and help testing it....
