Post Gallery include for Joo!CM

Hello Robbie,

One thing I hope you plan to add to Joo!CM is a gallery.

A picture manager that makes it possible to upload pictures to the users account.
When they write in the forum there should be a option to recall the pictures in the forum post. Joo!CM will have the manager function. I hope this is what you plan to do with Joo!CM.

Post Joo!CM look and use of avatars to navigate

Hello Robbie,

Every time when I look for Joo!CM it looks empty and filled with avatars to navigate wich you use only once or rarely. Why don't you pimp the Joo!CM page? A little more action. Now a guest sees only 3 avatars. No additional info to let them sign up.

After sign up you see all the avatars to navigate. For a start its ok but after choosing a own avatar some can be hidden under a settings avatar. Then you get even more empty space but ....

Why don't you put in this empty space the latest posts, some pictures when you include some gallery ( I don't know what you want to control more Wink )or headers of articles, or ....

When I login in Joo!CM why do I also login in Joomla? could this be disconnected.
So you create two levels. A level of Joo!XX users (who can login in JOO!CM) and users who can login in as Joomla website user. With a checkfield you could grand users access to Joomla or Joo!XX or both.

Keep up the good work,

Only thinking to make Joo!BB the best board for Joomla.

Post Avatar problem

Hello Robbie,

In the Joo!CM you can upload from url Set Avatar URL. This isn't working yet?
Pasting a link to a CB avatar and upload doesn't result in the CB avatar.
Are you thinking about a checkbox "use CB avatar"?

The allignment of "my avatar" is over the tekst Avatar management and upload avatar file.

Happy testing,

Post Found some small bugs

Hello Robbie,

In the userlist I see your name and the link to send you a pm.
You blokked this in your pm but then the link shouldn't show up.

Can't change the avatar. Uploaded a new one but can't select it or reset the old.

I'm offline according the forum but I can't be offline when I write a message.

Only testing,

Post Re: Joomla! Community Manager (Joo!CM)

Hello Robbie,

I understand you wanna add a management layer over JooBB! to manage connections to other components. Sounds logical to me. Wich components are you thinking about? (CB and UddeIM is super) Does this make JooBB faster loading and displaying the board? Will the PM function then be intergrated in the forum? Go to the CB profile when CB is used to manage users?

As Chris mention about CCboard this looks very well to and the team is very active. About Agora ... let it be. Its all front end shit and to complex.

Looking forward for your new release,

Hennepdesk

Post Re: JooBB 's Development

Thank you for the answer Robbie,

I share the thoughts of Chris. When you start something but don't want to finish it or stay away without any notice why should others stay? Your component is good but still there is a lot of work.

Why do we try it? because we look for a good board. Why do we test it? because it will save you time and the result will be a good board.

Don't let us down.

Thank you for the update on this one but .....

When you enter a direct link then the profile still shows up.
follow the link

From the frontpage the link to the profile is gone indeed.

Post userlist shown to guests

Now you can view as guest the user list.
Is there a option to only make it accessable for users, mods and admins? or compleetly remove it and let Joomla manage the user list.

Now in the joobb admin panel you can only turn it off.

Thanks again,

Hennepdesk
